Mercedes diagnostics require Mercedes-specific tools — XENTRY (the dealer software) for advanced diagnostics, plus the right specialty tools for the platform. Generic OBD-II won’t surface most of what matters on a modern Mercedes.
For repairs we use OEM Mercedes parts (or genuine OE-equivalent — Bosch, Continental, ZF, Mahle) for cooling, electrical, and timing components. The premium for OEM is small relative to the labor; the longevity difference is substantial.

Yes. We use XENTRY (Mercedes’ dealer-level diagnostic software) for all advanced Mercedes work. For older platforms we also have STAR Diagnostic. Generic scan tools don’t communicate properly with most Mercedes modules.

Usually no. Most air-suspension issues trace to a specific component — a single air strut, the air compressor, or an air line. We diagnose with XENTRY, identify the failed component, and replace just that. Full system replacement is rare and we’ll tell you if it’s the right call.
