IS, ES, GS, LS, RC, LC, RX, NX, UX, GX, LX. 2GR-FE V6, 2GR-FKS V6, 2UR-FSE V8, 2GR-FXS hybrid, 2UR-GSE V8. Mechanically Toyota at higher trim with luxury-spec materials and electronics.
The Lexus platform shares architecture with Toyota — the GX is mechanically the 4Runner / Land Cruiser Prado, the LX is mechanically the Land Cruiser, the RX is platform-shared with the Highlander. Most of what fails on a Lexus has a known solution from the Toyota platform.
What’s Lexus-specific is luxury-trim electronics, climate control, and on certain models the air suspension. We service all of it, often at significantly less than the Lexus dealer.
For hybrids, the 12V battery is the most common failure mode (much more than the traction battery). We replace 12V batteries with proper hybrid-spec replacements.
Sedans. V6, V8 (IS-F, GS-F), hybrid. Routine maintenance, suspension, brakes.
Crossovers. V6, hybrid platforms. Tire and suspension service common.
GX460, GX550. Toyota Land Cruiser Prado architecture. KDSS, transfer case, 4Runner-shared.
LX570, LX600. Toyota Land Cruiser 200/300 architecture. Air suspension, drivetrain.
Flagship. 5.0 V8, 3.5 V6 hybrid, 5.7 V8 (older LX/LS). Luxury-spec service.
12V battery service, brake / suspension / fluids, traction-battery diagnostics.
If your vehicle is doing any of these, bring it in. None of them is guaranteed to be the part you might think — that’s why we diagnose first.
Mechanically, mostly yes — same engines, same transmissions, same drivetrain architecture in most models. The differences are luxury-trim — interior, electronics, climate, sometimes suspension calibration. A capable Toyota tech can service most Lexus models with the right Lexus-specific parts catalog.
Yes. We diagnose specific component failures (compressor, strut, valve block) rather than recommending full system replacement. Most air-suspension issues fix at one component.
Yes. Routine work — 12V battery, brakes, suspension, fluids — is straightforward. High-voltage traction battery work is case-by-case but most hybrid issues we see are the 12V battery, not the traction pack.
Significantly. Lexus dealer rates are dealer-tier; independent specialist rates with OEM Lexus / Toyota parts run typically 30–40% below dealer for the same work.
Yes. The 2JZ in the IS300, the 1UZ / 3UZ V8 in the SC and LS — these are well-supported platforms with strong parts availability. We service them like any other Lexus.
